Reviews and Ratings
I had an excellent experience at Ufulu Gardens, where I enjoyed a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. The property is clean and beautifully maintained, with spacious villas. While I encountered some service inconsistencies during my stay, the friendly staff certainly made the experience enjoyable overall.
The hotel has a lovely atmosphere with clean and beautifully furnished interiors, including spacious rooms. However, there were some letdowns, such as the cold shower, empty mini bar, and a disappointing dining experience. Overall, it’s a lovely place close to the airport, but certain aspects need improvement.
I've been returning to Ufulu Garden for years because it's such a peaceful place to stay. The rooms are comfortable and the gardens offer a lovely escape. The staff really do their best to assist, but there have been hiccups with service efficiency. The dining options could use some more variety and the Wi-Fi system is a bit cumbersome, but overall, it's a good spot for both business and leisure trips.
This hotel offers a mix of experiences depending on the room you get. I had a pleasant stay with friendly staff and a clean atmosphere, but my experience with the rooms varied greatly. Some showers barely worked, and the dining options were decent, but not remarkable. The location isn’t bad for a stay, but the amenities like air conditioning can be unreliable, especially in hot weather.
After a four-year stay, I can confidently say this hotel is the best choice in Lilongwe. The gardens are gorgeous, creating a peaceful atmosphere, and the staff are always warm and welcoming. However, be prepared for slower service at times, and the apartments vary in their amenities, so some may need better equipment. Overall, this place offers great value for money and is a wonderful home away from home.
